Terms of Use

1. The service

nod is a referral tracking and record-keeping tool for contractors. It gives contractors a simple way to capture referrals submitted by others, record the reward amounts associated with each referral, and keep a running ledger of who referred whom.

Access to nod is offered as a subscription at $79 per month or $790 per year. There are no per-lead fees and no commissions taken from any reward.

2. What nod is not

nod is a record-keeping tool, not a financial platform. nod never holds, moves, escrows, or guarantees any reward payment. All reward payments occur solely and directly between the contractor and the referrer, outside of nod and with no involvement from nod.

nod is not a marketplace and does not sell or distribute leads to multiple contractors. A referral recorded in nod belongs to one contractor's account and is not made available to others.

3. Your records

Referral records you create in nod belong to your account. We do not resell, redistribute, or share your referral data with other contractors or third parties for their own use. You may export or request deletion of your records at any time.

4. Acceptable use

By using nod, you agree to provide accurate information about your business and the referrals you record. You agree not to use nod for any unlawful purpose, to submit false or fabricated referral records, or to misrepresent the nature of any referral or reward.

5. Rewards are your responsibility

Contractors set their own reward amounts and are solely responsible for paying referrers according to any arrangement they communicate. nod records the reward amount you choose to associate with a referral; it does not enforce, guarantee, or participate in that arrangement.

You are responsible for understanding and complying with any laws or regulations applicable to your business and your referral practices. nod makes no representation about the legal status of any referral or reward arrangement.

6. Billing

The subscription fee is $79 per month, billed in advance. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Specific refund terms are subject to the policies of our payment processor and will be published here before nod launches publicly.

7. Disclaimers & liability

nod is provided as-is. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, reliability, or fitness of the service for any particular purpose. To the extent permitted by applicable law, nod's liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amounts paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will notify active subscribers by email and update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of nod after notice constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
